Item Description
8.5x11" spiral-bound book with 20 pages. c. 1943. Book was sent to Philadelphia area newspapers to promote "Puck" and "Metro" comics and mentions Philadelphia "Sunday Record Comics." Batman is featured only on the cover with text "More Power For Your Sunday Punch." Donald Duck and Alley Oop are also featured inside. Light strip of aging at top of front cover as well as extreme margin by binding. Exc. This is one of only two that we know of, the other being previously sold by us for over $10,000.00. Both this and the previous example were owned by the same consignor and upon seeing the results with our last example, the consignor offered up his personal copy. Rare.
