Item Description
2-1/8" diameter large case in silver luster with gorgeous porcelain dial showing Union leader on horseback with sabre drawn leading his troops with American flag toward the Rebel troops. Tiny accents of cannon barrel, bombshell, drum, knapsack, crossed rifles and second wheel is centered by image and text "We Drank From The Same Canteen." Outer dial edge has names in blue, with red numerals between, of 12 famous battle sites such as Gettysburg, Antietam, Fort Sumpter, Bull Run, etc. Interior serial number 23570841. Several jeweler markings inside case back, the earliest from 1945 but the serial number translates to 1920 production date. Case N. Mint. Dial essentially Mint. See McKinley 1896 lapel stud #127.
