6 7/8” X 10 1/8” reads “Attend the Tom Mooney Pardon Convention. Come and meet members of the Mooney pardon organization from all parts of the state. Come and hear nationally known speakers. Come and hear stirring music. San Francisco Civic Auditorium Sunday Oct. 11, Beg. 12 Noon. Among the speakers will be Rupert Hughes, Fremont Older, Lincoln Steffens, Oscar Ameringer, John D. Barry, Fred Moore, Robert Whitaker. There will be other speakers. The Convention Proceedings will be broadcast over stations KYA of San Francisco and KNX of Hollywood. If you can’t attend, tune in. Help free Tom Mooney.” Has picture of Tom Mooney in 1916 at time of his arrest and a picture of him in 1931 after 15 years in prison, which shows him having aged considerably.
