Item Description
23" long metal rockers hold 22" tall chair. 15" wide. 13x13" black vinyl seat. 9x12" tapered vinyl back has large b/w image of Hoppy and Topper with name in rope above them and facsimile signature reading "Good Luck From Hoppy" below. Attached to front of seat is 8x8.5" wood cut-out with black and white illustration and name at bottom "Topper" on each side. c. 1950s. Underneath seat is manufacturer's name "Comfort Lines Inc. Chicago." Scattered oxidation on chrome-like finished metal. Very well designed with rockers that will not tip over. Vinyl-covered seat and back remain sturdy and free of wear. Hoppy image remains bright and clean. Scattered paint loss on top of .75" thick wooden horse head attachment. Metal areas would likely polish. Nice looking. VF. From the Hake Collection.
