Item Description
15.75x23.25" thin artboard has pen and ink original art by "The Little King" creator Otto Soglow. For Aug. 3, 1958 Sunday, which features 12 panels (not counting paste-over title panel, which shows heavy aging from glue). Art shows Little King being invited to art show. He arrives and begins viewing the Abstract paintings before being asked if he'd like to meet the artist. The artist is revealed to be a chimpanzee in last panel. Eighth panel has been dated. Second to last panel has been signed by Soglow. Last panel has KFS copyright strip paste-over. Some faint penciling related to dialogue can be seen below this panel. Margins have editorial stamps/text and several pin holes. "Little King" title paste-over strip at center right margin. Artboard has some aging/dust soiling to margins, but art remains clean and Exc.
