18.25x23-7/8" heavy pastel board has pastel original art portrait of Spanish woman wearing crucifix necklace and clutching Bible as man plays violin in bkg. Art was created by legendary pulp magazine cover artist Modest Stein, who has signed art at lower left. Art comes w/original parchment paper cover. Exact purpose or publication this art was created for is unknown and it is unknown if art was published. Scattered typical pastel smudging, but none too distracting. Art could easily be framed for a VF/Exc. display. Charlie Roberts Collection.
