17-5/8x21.5x2.25" deep frame contains shadowbox display, w/"Quiet Please - Fox Trot" 10" 78-rpm Bluebird record #10810 by Tommy Dorsey and his Sentimentalists w/drums by Buddy Rich. c. 1940. Rich (1917-1987), was a noted Jazz drummer and bandleader, billed as "The World's Greatest Drummer," playing w/entertainers including Joe Marsala, Bunny Berigan, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Les Brown, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Krupa and Louis Armstrong. Rich has signed Bluebird label in white ink, making for nice display as framed in shadowbox style, w/matted photos of him as bandleader and posing behind his drums. Displays Exc. Wonderful vintage signed piece. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
