Articles/authors include - "These Children's Comics" by Josette Frank, excerpt from "The Effects Of Comic Books On The Ideology Of Children" by Lauretta Bender, "Superman Says: Read A Good Book Every Week...And He Gets Results!" by Mary R. Lucas w/image of special Superman poster for librarians (w/Superman saying "Don't Miss These Swell Books!"), "Comic Magazines As An Aid To Vocabulary Building" by Dr. Robert L. Thorndike, "Superman Turns Teacher" by Harold Downes showing "Superman Work Book" w/same cover art as "Superman" #14 superimposed over newspaper articles from schools about Superman helping teach students. Last page lists "Editorial Advisory Board - Superman DC Publications" members along w/"DC - A Superman Publication" logo and list of published titles. Inside back cover has DC publishers "A Policy And A Pledge." Covers have trace of aging and .25" tear to front cover edge. Pinch creases to spine w/streak of glue along inside lower back cover. Fine overall. Historic, early publication promoting "Superman" comics in pre-censorship days. Extremely limited distribution. We offered another example of this publication which sold for $392. Rare.
