8x10.5". Typed on "United States Senate Office Of The Democratic Leader" stationery and signed boldly at conclusion. LBJ sends a "Personal Note Of Congratulations On Your Selection As An Alternate Delegate To The Democratic National Convention". Other content of note is last line of fifth paragraph reading "We Must Always Remember, The Democratic Party Has More To Offer The Successive Generations Of This Nation Than The Other Party." Two vertical horizontal folds otherwise Exc. Also included is an 8x10" photo of LBJ at the microphone of an unknown event. Johnson wears a smile and has his arm raised with hand pointing one finger in to the sky. Striking contrast with only minor handling wear. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
