Superman: The Last God Of Krypton was written by Walter Simonson w/art by The Brothers Hildebrandt and was published by DC Comics in 1999. In it, Superman discovers the existence of the evil Kryptonian Goddess of Ice - Cythonna - and proceeds to be beaten by the deity throughout the majority of the story. Offered here is a 16x23" Masonite board w/acrylics original art painting for page 45, featuring splash page w/four inset panels, showing Superman and Lois Lane (who wears Kryptonian battle armor) in final battle against Cythonna. First panel shows Cythonna tangling w/Lois, causing Superman to pitch Kryptonite at her, turning the tide of battle. Superman appears in every panel, Lois appears in first inset panel and Cythonna appears in first and last panels. Back has small handwritten label. Top margin has strips of masking tape, small piece overlaps onto front of board at upper left. Art o/w remains clean and Exc. overall.
