The Brothers Hildebrandt were a duo of fantasy artists consisting of twin brothers Greg Hildebrandt (1939-2024) and Tim Hildebrandt (1939-2006), who were widely recognized artists in the world of Tolkien-inspired art. "The importance of The Hildebrandt Brothers to the legacy of the Lord Of The Rings cannot be understated," said Hake's Senior Consignment Manager Mike Bollinger. "For an entire generation discovering Tolkien's fantastic world for the first time, their art helped shape how that world and the characters who populated it looked."
