11x16.25" artboard has pencil original art by Sal Buscema (1936-2026) w/inks by Bill Sienkiewicz for Rom #53, published by Marvel Comics April 1984. Page is from Bill Mantlo's "Paranoia Strikes Deep!" storyline and features splash page 21, showing the Fantastic Four, Avengers, Defenders and X-Men (23 characters total). This page has text from President Ronald Reagan speech telling of the disappearance of the world's superheroes, all leading into Marvel's Secret Wars event. Arguably the best page in the issue, but does not include Rom. Back has Marvel Comics copyright inkstamp. Top margin has been unevenly trimmed and two clipped corners. Lt. handling wear, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this art was produced for. Lawrence Klein Collection.

Accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check, money order and we will also accept payment by wire transfer. PayPal is not an accepted method of payment. A 3% fee will be added to all credit card payments. Please be advised if your invoice is under $5,000, your credit card on file will be charged on the 15th day following the close of the auction. If you wish to pay via check, money order or a wire payment must be received prior to that date.

We ship in the order paid—first in, first out. Thus, we begin charging orders as instructed by customers immediately following the close of the auction and continue to fill orders as they are paid.
