24x29" framed w/ 17x22" opening. Copyrighted 1904 by E.G. Williams & Bro. (New York). Features the nine Supreme Court justices, most notably Chief Justice Melville Fuller and Edward Douglass White. Each justice's facsimile signature below their portrait. Fuller's court ruled on key cases including the Plessy v. Ferguson decision in 1896 that upheld the doctrine of "separate but equal". Print has only light wear. Exc. Not examined outside of frame.
