Page features six panels, showing Batman on a rooftop, calmly talking w/the assassin Andrev, who states he couldn't kill the woman seen in last panel. Story page 21. Batman appears in three panels. All captions/word balloons have been hand-lettered. Top margin has stamped/penciled "Detective" titles and handwritten issue/page numbers in pencil/ink. Bottom margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by McDonnell, whose signature intrudes slightly into image area. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp but is dominated by nearly full page portrait of The Joker about to eat a goldfish. McDonnell has signed this art as well. Printer hole punches at center left/right margins. Art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.
