8.5x11-7/8" sheet off unlined art paper has pencil original art sketch by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman that was created c. Dec. 1984. As mentioned in previous lot, Eastman sent this sketch of his "Favorite Turtle, Raphael" to Lawrence Klein as a token of appreciation for his love of the then fledgling TMNT franchise. Sketch shows Raphael from the waist up, standing in a defensive pose w/his sai weapons held in front of him. Eastman has added two hand-lettered word balloons reading "Lawrence Klein... You're OK By Me!" w/Klein's name rendered in block lettering. Eastman has inscribed art at bottom in black felt tip pen, reading "Lawrence, Thanks For Your Support! Best Wishes - Kevin B. Eastman." Sheet shows some scattered lt. handling wear, but art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.
