Cover features collage consisting of full color photocopies of the first nine issues of NOW's Original Astro Boy, w/cut-out artboard at center featuring mixed media original art by Ken Steacy depicting Astro Boy from the waist up, seemingly bursting through covers. This assembly has been mounted to larger artboard and has been signed in black ink at bottom margin by Steacy. Top of artboard has acetate overlay attached w/white tape. Collage has some glue staining to white areas of two covers, however art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this art was produced for; signed in silver paint pen by Steacy on cover. Lawrence Klein Collection.
