11.25x16.5" artboard has pencil and inks original art by Ken Steacy for Batman #400, published by DC Comics Oct. 1986. Page is from Doug Moench's "Resurrection Night! Chapter IX: Branches Like Bones" storyline and page 44 features seven panels, showing Batman and Catwoman surprising Killer Croc, Poison Ivy and Riddler, who are eating fast food "McPig". This Anniversary issue featured multiple creators throughout. Ken Steacy did a three-page chapter; all of which are offered in this auction. These pages are Steacy's only work on the Batman title. Bottom margin has been signed in black ink by Moench (who added "5/94" date) and Steacy (who added "-86" date). Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp. Top margin has stamped title and inked page number and has been unevenly trimmed. Small surface paper loss at top and bottom margins from tape. Some lt. margin dust soiling, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.
