Pair of separate artboards form double page spread measuring approx. 16.5x22.5". Artboards have pencil original art by Joe Staton w/inks by Ian Gibson (1946-2023) for Millennium #8, published by DC Comics Feb. 1988. This double page spread is the final two pages of the last issue of this landmark DC limited series. Story pages 22-23. Double page spread features total of seven panels, w/large diagonal splash panel showing the DC superheroes (Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Aquaman and Aqualad, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Firestorm, Captain Atom, Hawkman and Hawkwoman, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle (high above in the Bug), Mister Miracle, Skyman, members of Infinity Inc. and Green Lantern Guy Gardner) taking their leave of the Green Lantern Corps (Hal Jordan, Arisia, John Stewart, Katma Tui, Kilowog and Driq) and the New Guardians (Floro, Extraño, Betty, RAM, Gloss and Jet) w/final panel showing the New Guardians together. Captions/word balloons are hand-lettered paste-ups; each exhibiting some glue staining. Top margin has inked "Mil" title abbreviation and issue/page numbers. Bottom margin of each artboard has been signed in pencil by Staton. Back of each has DC Comics copyright inkstamp. Top margins have been unevenly trimmed and lower left corner of second artboard has been clipped. Art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.

We ship in the order paid—first in, first out. Thus, we begin charging orders as instructed by customers immediately following the close of the auction and continue to fill orders as they are paid.
