10.5x17" DC Comics artboard pair has original pencil art by Joe Staton and inks by Keith Williams for Super Heroes Stamp Album "Celebrate The Century" #6 (1950-1959), published by DC and the USPS 1999. Double page spread 30/31 is from Bronwyn Taggart's "Stock Cars: Detroit Goes To The Races" storyline and features Superman, Flash (Wally West), Gangbuster (Jose Delgado) and talks about the early days of NASCAR and racing. Paste-over copy of art to cover up bkg. at bottom of page 31. Stock car stamp incorporated into design has "FPO" (for position only) handwritten text in marker. Text boxes/word balloons are paste-ups. Clear tape on some word balloon edges. Taped on back to join spread together. "Special Projects Editorial" red ink stamp at top of pages. Bottom has been signed in black ink by Staton. Backs have copyright stamps from DC Comics as well as Production Routing Sheets. Lt. aging/handling wear, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.
