10.5x17" DC Comics artboard pair has original pencil art by Joe Staton and inks by Bob Smith for Super Heroes Stamp Album "Celebrate The Century" #3 (1920-1929), published by DC and the USPS 1998. Double page spread 8/9 is from Doug Moench's "Radio: America Tunes In" storyline and features Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) talking about the marvels of radio and shows the news of the sinking of the Titanic at top right and the formation of the NBC radio network. Early radio stamp incorporated into design has "FPO" (for position only) handwritten text in marker. Text boxes/word balloons are paste-ups. Taped on back to join spread together. Bottom has been signed in black ink by Staton. Backs have copyright stamps from DC Comics as well as Production Routing Sheets. Lt. aging/handling wear, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.
