11x17" DC Comics artboard has pen and ink original art for story page 12 of The Demon Vol. 3 Annual #1, published by DC Comics Aug. 1992 as part of the "Eclipso: The Darkness Within" Summer crossover. Issue featured art by Joe Phillips and Dave Johnson w/inks by John Dell. Page features five panels; first two panels being showing Etrigan the Demon are pasted stats w/inking to edges and pieces of masking tape used to secure them in place. Last three panels have screentone accents. Last three panels show Xavier Nihilo eating his life-sustaining mushrooms while anticipating either his or Etrigan's death. Word balloons in last three panels are hand-lettered. Top margin has penciled/inked title, penciled issue number and inked page number. Bottom left margin has blue pencil editorial notation. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp and some stray ink strokes. Staple hole at upper left corner and some scattered lt. edge wear, but art remains clean and Exc. See following lot.
