11.5x16-5/8" artboard has pencil original art by Jim Calafiore w/inks by Peter Palmiotti for Aquaman Vol. 5 #24, published by DC Comics Sept. 1996. Page features four panels, w/central panel showing Deep Blue calling giant nautili to attack the Hunter/Gatherers, a ace of alien colonizers who laid their eyes on sunken city of Atlantis. Inhabitants of Atlantis' lost cities appear to protect the undersea realm, w/Thierna Na Oge residents using magic in first panel and the aquatic denizens of Hy-Brasil attack w/their own weaponry. Aquaman appears in third panel as a projection (as indicated by surrounding red ink effect). Captions are pasted stats. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers. Upper left margin has red ink editorial notation regarding removal of red lines for printing. Center left/right margins have printer hole punches. Bottom margin has been signed by Calafiore, who added "-99" date. Back has DC Comics copyright instamp and has been signed by Palmiotti, who added "Inked By" note and "5/96" date. Art remains clean and Exc.
