11.5 x 17". c. 1938. 23 pgs. Cuneo Press. June 6, 1938 issue of Father Coughlin's "Social Justice" magazine detailing upcoming New York mayoral race. Bold photographic cartoon features "LaGuardia's Kite" asserting he is "applauded by Communist, radical, Socialist, religionist, Democrat & Republican" forces. Coughlin's increasing anti-semitism informed his opinion, making sure to note LaGuardia is "half Jewish and half Gentile." while patronizingly adding "to the little New Yorker's kite are attached many tails" illustrated as Dubinsky, Lewis and LaFollette w/ Roosevelt as central kite. Bifold, even age toning, edgewear & weak seam. Fine.
