3 x 4.25" c. 1843. Silk. Exceptional Tyler campaign ribbon, of which few known examples are extant. In an act of unknowing prescience, "The President of the United States" portion has been removed. Honors his run of assumed Presidency. Remaining ribbon is in Fine condition, w/ great contrast & clarity. Diagonal corner crease from eagle to right side, diag. scratch from next to frame edge, 2 pinholes at bottom frame edge. One spot at left, loss directly above. A scarce opportunity to aquire a coveted Tyler artifact.
