Pencil portrait sketches of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson on either side. Doc Ock's tentacles have been rendered as they appeared in the Spider-Man movies. Signed at bottom by Hannigan. Top was used to test out color markers. Some scattered graphite pencil dust soiling to margins, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Lawrence Klein Collection.

"I have been a fan of Ed's work since I started collecting and was lucky enough to work with Ed Hannigan since the early 2000s, and over time our professional relationship grew into a personal friendship with Ed and Heidi. During those years, I was fortunate to acquire a number of pieces of Ed’s art that were meaningful to both of us and that I continue to treasure. This Spider-Man piece is one of several studies Ed created for a cover that was ultimately never published.
