9x11.75" clothbound slipcase w/facsimile gold foil Bob Kane signature and Bat-Signal contains hardcover edition by Eclipse Books, ©1989 Bob Kane. First printing. Subtitled "An Autobiography By Bob Kane" w/156 pages featuring art/photos chronicling Kane's career as well as full color reprints of Batman stories from New York World's Fair 1940 comic and World's Finest Comics #6 from 1942. Slip-case is open but original shrink-wrap bearing "655/1000" edition number is mostly intact. Inside, page has glossy color paper tipped-in bookplate signed in black ink by Bob Kane which also has edition number. Next page has 7.5x10" sheet of art paper tipped in w/superb original art portrait image of Batman drawn by his creator. A great item for any Batman fan, as it chronicles both Batman and the man behind the Bat, Bob Kane. Trace handling wear. NM as issued. Lawrence Klein Collection.

We ship in the order paid—first in, first out. Thus, we begin charging orders as instructed by customers immediately following the close of the auction and continue to fill orders as they are paid.
