11.5x17" DC Comics/Vertigo/WildStorm artboard has pencil original art by Adam DeKraker w/inks by Prentis Rollins for story page 1 for JSA: All Stars #5, published by DC Comics Nov. 2003. Issue focused on the second Hourman (Rick Tyler) and features The Spectre (Hal Jordan) giving brief history of the character in three panels, The Spectre depicted full body along left side of page. Top right panel shows Rick as Hourman along w/image of his father Rex Tyler as the Golden Age Hourman. Second panels shows Rick's battle w/addiction and last panel shows him in costume again. All word balloons are pasted stats, but balloon outlines have been hand-done in The Spectre's usual flame style. Top margin has printed strip w/"JSA All-Stars: Hourman #5" title and printed page number label. Top margin also notes Rollins as inker. DeKraker has boldly singed bottom margin in black marker. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp as well as label of letterer Kurt Hathaway. Artboard has some lt. dust soiling to margin and minor corner tip wear, but art remains clean and Exc.
