Item Description
4.5x6" cardboard panel has photos of 20 players. Featured in near full figure form is HOF player-manager Oscar Charleston. Other key players shown in smaller images include Josh Gibson, Satchel Paige, Judy Johnson and Cool Papa Bell, all also HOF members. This section is a piece cut out from a larger broadside which had photo areas representing a total of six different teams with title at top of "Negro National League" (see items #1101-1104). This full team panel has small trace of aging but remains clean and displays excellent as encapsulated. Historic line-up of what many consider to be the greatest Negro League team of all time. In 1935 this team defeated the NY Cubans for their only undisputed NNL pennant.
