Item Description
Each piece is 1.75" tall with a horizontal bar pin on the reverse of the hanger designed as a shield with accent ribbons to left and right. Hanger suspends Maltese cross-designed brass shell accented by stars, shield, anchor, axe and wheat scythe. The Harrison is listed in DeWitt-Sullivan as 1888-39 while the Cleveland is unlisted. The Cleveland piece has clean but not bright luster. His photo is strong while Thurman is a little light but all details visible. The Harrison piece has N. Mint luster and both images are clean and strong. Seldom seen frame designs. A scarce matched pair.
