Glossy 8x10" photo has been signed in black felt tip pen by Kirk Alyn, the actor who portrayed Superman in the 1948 serial of the same name and its 1950 sequel "Atom Man Vs. Superman." Alyn is shown in full Superman costume and photo has been personalized "To Kevin - Best Wishes From The Original 'Superman' Kirk Alyn." Exc. Comes w/pair of 7.25x8.5" letters on "Columbia Pictures Corporation" letterhead that are both addressed to same Dexter, MO. theater agent. First is dated Aug. 11, 1948 and mentions earliest opening for availability of the 1948 "Superman" serial. Second is dated Dec. 7, 1950 and mentions upcoming expiration of "Atom Man Vs. Superman" showing rights and mentions "Sir Galahad." Both have been signed by Columbia representatives and folded as mailed. VF. An eclectic ephemera pair for the Superman collector. Comes with Hake's COA.
