Item Description
Lot of three 8x10" glossy color publicity stills from the original releases of Fleischer Studio's "Superman" cartoon, ©1941 Paramount Pictures. All three feature nice images of Superman, first features image of Superman supporting collapsing bridge (a man and car can be seen atop bridge), second shows close-up image of Superman supporting bridge and third still shows Superman in the mouth of a fire-breathing dragon that looks very close to dinosaur from "The Arctic Giant" cartoon. These images appear to be promotional images only as they differ slightly from the cartoons. Stills have curled slightly and have some scattered handling/corner tip wear. Fine overall. Very rare and the first we've offered in our 48 years, let alone three from the set of four.
