Lot of five, measuring between 1" and 4-3/8" tall. Made by Gem Clay Forming Company for distribution by both sponsors of the Tarzan radio show and others. 1930s. Included are figures from the rare extended set, Kerchak (the ape leader who Tarzan killed to become king of the apes) Princess La (High Priestess of Opar), the Leopard of Opar as well as two different lion cubs. Leopard has been painted by original owner and very nicely done and detailed and clear coated. Exc. Princess comes w/original but worn shipping box (boxes are rare) w/original insert and is unpainted but has lt. pink tone. VF. Rest remain unpainted and are VF/Exc. overall. All are from the rare later additions to the basic set (see previous item #2296). Most we have ever offered at one time from this rare extended set.
