6" long tin litho "Space Explorer X-705" friction toy made in Japan by TPS, 1950s. Nice futuristic design w/image of two spacemen in raised tin litho cockpit. Missing wire that held flying spaceman figure that would revolve as friction action was activated. Friction works. Toy has scattered wear, mainly to rims of wheels and is Fine overall. Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 6" long "M.S. 8 Moon Scout" battery-operated toy by made in Hong Kong by Amico, 1970s. All plastic toy features light-up feature and walking motion as vehicle has legs as opposed to wheels. Box shows moderate wear and some fading but is complete w/original cardboard insert and retains its shape. Fine overall. Toy works and aside from some aging to "M.S. 8 Moon Scout" decals, is VF.
