Item Description
3.75x6x7/8" deep box contains 1.25" dia. chromed metal case, complete w/original red vinyl-covered leather band. Larger of two cases produced. Dial features full figure image of Captain Marvel holding fighter jet and "Captain Marvel" name. ©1948 Fawcett Publications Pub. Inc. Comes w/original "Marvel Importing Corporation" guarantee paper which has heavy crease, is aged and VG overall. Original foil tag around upper band reads "Captain Marvel 5.95". Insert shows slight fade to red areas. Box has some lt. handling wear w/dust soiling and corner tip rubs. Fine overall. Case shows some scattered luster wear, but dial remains totally bright and clean. Luminous material on numerals has aged but hands still glow faintly. Crystal shows a few lt. scratches. Watch works. VF/Exc.
