Item Description
First is a 7/8" give-away with backpaper from Tokio Cigarette." Pictured are young boy and his dog both looking skyward with the caption "Look At The Airship." Faint tan stain traces on extreme edge but still displays VF. Next is rare historic button although quite tanned and covered with cracks in the celluloid. Button shows a huge airship with text "Arizona-Fair Phoenix-Nov. 9 to 14-'08./Roy Knabenshue/Daily Flights." Knabenshue first piloted an airship at the St. Louis World's Fair in the Aeronautic Competition. After this he built his own airship and over the next few years demonstrated its flight abilities at various fairs. A year after this button he joined with the Wright brothers and managed their traveling exhibition team. Rare and only example we've seen.
