Item Description
6x9.25" hardcover w/244 pages plus fold-out 9x16.75" class photo. Yearbook is titled "The Freshman Herald - Class Of Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Nine." Cover is completely loose (easily repaired) and the page w/Kennedy's photo has come loose long ago but is included. Gutter has four 2" long tape stains. This page and a few others have very minor tan age spotting. Kennedy's photo remains totally clean w/just a few faint age dots on white area around his biography information. Text notes his full name and "Ken" nickname, address in Bronxville, NY., prep school as Choate and interests as publications and golf. Kennedy appears at center fold-out class photo of approx. 622 fellow classmates. JFK's attendance at Princeton was brief. He left the school in Dec., 1935 due to an illness that hospitalized him. He later transferred to Harvard and graduated as a member of the class of 1940. Book is an extremely limited issue and likely well under 1,000 would have been printed for students, faculty and administration. This is the first example we've seen.
