6.5x9-3/8" envelope w/"Office Of Richard Nixon" mailing label. VF. 7.25x10.5" typed letter on "Richard Nixon" letterhead that is dated March 24, 1987. Letter is addressed to Harry McLaughlin, "The Dean Of York Newsmen" in Nixon's words and congratulates him on his recent retirement and mentions an upcoming deadline for a "Large-Scale Foreign Policy" book and his inability to attend a speaking engagement. Signed in blue felt tip pen "RN." Folded as mailed w/lt. wear. VF w/signature displaying NM. Comes w/5x7" photo postcard showing the Nixon Family and has been signed by Nixon in blue felt tip pen.
