Drawing #8-737 dated 8-13-63 from factory in Erie, PA. 36x51" sheet of vellum has 34.25x49" image area hand-drawn and hand-lettered in lead pencil showing components and parts used to make toy. Many include matching part number. Includes head front and rear, body front and rear half, legs front and rear, right arm with claw, battery box and more. Lower right corner has printed stamp area with hand-lettered name and specification numbers including artist’s initials “RW.”. Sheet has been rolled and has handling creases with barely noticeable .25" tear at upper left near front half of body image. A few tiny moisture marks at upper right corner in blank area and blank bottom margin edge is a bit tanned with age. Will mat and frame to Fine/VF appearance. Big Loo was released for the 1963 Christmas holiday season, standing over 3' tall and retailing for $9.99. Considered one of the all-time Marx classic toys, the large detailed blueprint is impressive and unique. An ultimate one of a kind item for Marx enthusiasts and an incredible item for display.
