Edwina Dumm (1893-1990) drew the comic strip Cap Stubbs and Tippie for six decades and was also the nation's first full time female editorial cartoonist. She obviously loved dogs and her Sinbad weekly page ran in both Life magazine and the London Tattler. She also drew "Alec The Great" for the Matthew Adams service. She was a recipient of the NCS Gold Key award in 1978. Wonderful specialty art and a truly delightful item.
