Item Description
This aviation character was sponsored by Kellogg's with the radio's shows written by Captain Wilfred Gibbs Moore who was also a coauthor on The Air Adventures of Jimmie Allen. This ring dates from the late 1930s and features brass base with adjustable bands. Each side has a five-point star design. Top of the ring has a clip which holds a piece of litmus paper that would change color according to humidity in the air but no longer active. Nice luster on the top third of the ring although without the original luster on the lower thin bands but the metal remains clean. A Fine example and scarce ring.
