Item Description
c. late 1940s/early 1950s. Flannel jersey, pants and pair of stretch cotton leggings. Size 44 jersey is 32" tall with felt name, piping and patch on left shoulder with image of shark. Inside collar has Inedo Deportes Mexico label with similar label inside 31.75" long pants which have felt belt loops. Leggings are each 19" long overall. Back of jersey has large number “5". Metal rivet holes in underarms of jersey have some oxidation and fabric has a few small rust marks in these areas. One button is missing from back pants pocket and stitching is coming loose on one belt loop. Leggings have a few small holes. Overall uniform is Fine/VF. Nice to find such a complete vintage uniform. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
