Item Description
Boxed games are all English by Spears but made in Germany c. 1920s-1930s. Sizes range from 6x8.5x1.25" deep to 7.5x10.75x1-38" deep. Three clown games and Scotchman game all have inserts including hand painted wooden nose. "Hoko" game has individual ring games including one with Ally Sloper and one with smiling black woman smoking pipe. Titles and conditions are: "Hoko" - box and contents Fine; "Blue-Eyed Bumbo" - box Good, contents Fine; "The Bonny Aberdonian" - box and contents Fine; "Comical Pete" - box Good, contents VG due to nose repair and "Mister Pips" (made for German market) - lid and contents VG. Loose group of ten die-cut ring toss toys are c. 1920s-1950s. Sizes range from 4.25x5.75" to 5x9". Most are premiums and marked with companys' or stores' names. Includes Coca-Cola Santa Claus, Poll-Parrot shoes clown. Images include seven clowns, one Santa, one farmer, one Ally Sloper. One clown has nose repaired. Trace of lt. dust soil here and there. Most are VF. All have bright color and nice designs. An instant collection.
