Item Description
Each is 1.25” with brass luster on the tin-covered back plus horizontal bar pin in a slot. Quite unusual construction. The front of each has identical text except one is from “June 1908” and the other from “Aug. 1908.” Both read at top “Int’l Ass’n Of Car Workers.” At the center of each is a beautiful color logo featuring a pair of clasped hands above the union initials “I.A. of C.W.” Below on slightly diverging tracks is a passenger car on the left with a boxcar on the right. Between the two is tiny type “Organized/May 22d/1901.” Slightest hint of a little tone on the word “June” and small loss of the brass luster from the reverse but both are Exc. and display N. Mint to Mint. First we’ve seen designed like this.
