Item Description
Two-piece plane assembles to 7x7.5x4" tall and comes in box w/lid nicely illustrated on all sides. 1960s by Masudaya/Modern Toys, Japan. Box has moderate scattered wear including some creases, mostly on the plain box bottom and lid has 4" hairline cut running vertically near top left but this has been neatly repaired on inside w/archival tape. VG. Plane is mostly tin litho w/plastic propeller and pistons, both of which move when friction is activated. Pilot is a monkey wearing helmet and goggles seated in cockpit behind a plastic windshield. Plane is marked "Lucky L-305." Has some tiny scattered paint nicks but remains totally bright and glossy. VF. Nice design.
