Item Description
14x21.5" first printing (the 1st printing poster is identified by the placement of the "105" in which the "0" falls over the "I" in "Tickets" at bottom left). For Feb. 1-4, 1968 concerts at The Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland that featured The Jimi Hendrix Experience, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers and Albert King. Iconic art by Rick Griffin features bloodshot eyeball with wings and rattlesnake tail emerging from a ring of fire while holding a skull in one of its clawed hands. Top center margin has three tiny tack holes only noticeable upon very close inspection. Slightest trace of handling wear/corner tip wear. Poster remains totally bright, glossy and vibrant. Technically VF but displays NM. One of the best and most sought-after 1960s concert posters enhanced by being an elusive first printing.
