Exquisite hand-decorated porcelain sculpture atop wood base has overall size of 7x11x9" tall. Sculpted by Enzo Arzenton. He first started producing sculptures for the Laurenz Disney Collection in 1983 and continued to do so until he retired in 1999, production on all Disney pieces then ceased. This piece was first released during the 1980s, w/actual production being much lower than initially stated. At least 258 were produced, as underside of base is marked "N258." Sculpture depicts Minnie Mouse in polka dot bikini at the beach, a leering seagull and shocked-looking starfish stare at her. Back of the piece has company markings and incised artist signature. Does not come with the original box or COA but sculpture is Mint as issued. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
