2-3/8x2.75x3.75" illustrated cardboard box contains 3.75" long tin litho toy w/built-in key. c. 1950s. This 1950s version differs as box features Superman graphics whereas the 1940 version's box did not and this tank is green and has Army star on top instead of silver or gold luster. Box is complete w/all flaps and has handling wear w/creases, corner tip wear and top flap has been reattached w/tape on interior. VG. Box is rarely found w/toy (all versions are scarce and desirable as such). Yellow suit Superman w/blue trunks. Toy is bright, glossy and working. Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
