Item Description
Thin art board has 20.25x25.5” India ink image area for July 30. Etta is in 11 of 12 panels. She gets a new bike from her dad, rides and meets Judy, and both go to soda fountain where they meet two boys. Etta suggests they all go to lake for a swim and she calls home. They leave in a convertible roadster as mom worries about them being exhausted and dad says “Bicycling Is Great Sport”. Signed in ink by creator “Paul Robinson” in panel 12. Complete w/ King Features copyright pasted strip. Image area clean and Exc. A superb example of the popular strip which ran from 1925 to 1974.
