3.5x5.5" Albertype Type 2 HOF plaque postcard from series for National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY. These postcards were produced 1945-1952 and sold at the HOF. Card front pictures Cy Young's bronze museum plaque in bw. Plaque text summarizes career statistics and brief biography. During his 21-year baseball career, Young pitched for five different teams and established numerous pitching records, some of which have stood for over a century. Young compiled 511 wins, the most in Major League history and 94 ahead of Walter Johnson, who is second on the list. Young was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Signed in blue ink at bottom center. Lightly aged but Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
