Item Description
Pair of boxed figure sets in cardboard window boxes. Archer Plastics, 1950s. Set No. 129 comes in 5.5x8.5x1.5" deep box w/die-cut rocket-shaped cellophane window and contains three hard plastic figures. Figures include space man w/helmet, space child and space woman holding infant. Contents Mint as packaged. Box has four perforated astronomy cards on reverse - "The Big Dipper, Mercury, Mars, Eclipse Of The Sun." Box has lt. aging w/minor creasing to left and right of cellophane window but die-cut "Space People" lettering at top remains free of any creasing. Cellophane window has some small marks on its surface but remains completely affixed to box. VF/Exc. Large and impressive set No. 198 comes in 11.25x13.5x1.5" deep box w/two die-cut rocket-shaped cellophane windows and contains 11 hard plastic figures. Figures include three space women (one holding baby), three space children and five space men w/helmets. Figures are secured to insert w/rubberbands. Contents Mint as packaged. Box has 12 perforated astronomy cards on reverse giving various space facts (including the four cards from smaller set). Box has lt. aging w/minor crease to tip of bottom cellophane window and die-cut "Space People" lettering at top has some creasing w/heavy .5" creases across "L" in "People." Cellophane windows remain completely affixed to box. VF/Exc.
